How to create a Virtual machine using VMware ?

In this post, I am gonna tell you how to create Virtual Machine (VM) using VMware or any VM emulator.
So you will be needing any of the following virtual machine emulator:
  1. VMware Player
  2. VMware Workstation
  3. Oracle VM
  4. Virtual Box
For this demo, I will be using VMware Workstation. You can also use VMware Player as both VMware workstation and VMware player follow the same step to create a virtual machine.
So I assume you have installed your VM emulator.
Lets start the virtual machine creation:

STEPS:

1. Open your VMware and Click "Create New Virtual Machine"

2. Select "Typical" and if you are an advanced user go ahead with "Custom"option.

3. Select the path of the OS which you want to emulate via this Virtual machine. Press "Next"

4. Name your virtual machine with your desired name "eg: Oracle VM" and Press "Next"

5. Allocate the Max size of the VM and select the first radio box as shown below:

6. Press "Customize Hardware" button to customize hardware setting

7. If you would like more performance, increase the number of cores per processor or number of processors but be sure to remember if you are having a low hardware specifications for your PC, please skip this step.

8. If you want flawless speed and performance, please increase your RAM allocated to the Virtual Machine. Also keep in mind to assigning 60% of the total RAM to the virtual machine may cause your pc to lag including your virtual machine.

9. Click "Finish" when you are done.

This post concludes the creation of virtual machine in VMware Workstation.
