Weblogic Installation part 1 - Requirement Analysis

This post will tell you how to install WebLogic in Linux. I will be using Weblogic 10.3.6 for this installation. For those who have no clue about what is a weblgic software is and what it does, well i have given a small description for your reference below, Check it out.

What is a Weblogic Console ?
  1. Weblogic console is an administrative console to administer and monitor application servers and Non Application Servers.
  2. The Weblogic Console has a main server called Admin Server which is used to monitor the other servers or managed Servers.
  3. The weblogic console has a logical memory unit called Domains to managed the entire Admin Server and individual Managed Servers or Clustered managed Servers.
  4. BTW there can be only one Admin Server per Domain.
So pretty much, that's the idea of weblogic in a nut shell.

Software Requirement:
  1. Oracle Linux 5 / Oracle Linux 6 VM
  2. Weblogic software v10.3.6
