This post will tell you how to install WebLogic in Linux. I will be using Weblogic 10.3.6 for this installation. For those who have no clue about what is a weblgic software is and what it does, well i have given a small description for your reference below, Check it out.
What is a Weblogic Console ?
- Weblogic console is an administrative console to administer and monitor application servers and Non Application Servers.
- The Weblogic Console has a main server called Admin Server which is used to monitor the other servers or managed Servers.
- The weblogic console has a logical memory unit called Domains to managed the entire Admin Server and individual Managed Servers or Clustered managed Servers.
- BTW there can be only one Admin Server per Domain.
Software Requirement:
- Oracle Linux 5 / Oracle Linux 6 VM
- Weblogic software v10.3.6
